gexDataSale is operated by llab08, Hong Kong (hello@llab08.com). This page explains what the shop does with personal data. llab08's studio-wide notice is at llab08.com/privacy#gexdatasale.
Browsing and the free sample
There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics scripts and no cookies of our own. The free sample is a plain file download. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard request logs (IP address, page, time, browser) for a short period for security and debugging.
Buying
Checkout runs on Stripe's own page. Stripe collects your e-mail address, payment details and any billing details it asks for; we never see or store your card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to what you enter there.
We do not keep a customer database of our own. Your order is the payment record in Stripe. From it we use your e-mail address, the product, the amount and the payment status to deliver the data, answer support requests and meet accounting duties. We add to that record how many download links your order has opened and when, and whether the delivery e-mail was sent.
Delivery
We send the delivery e-mail through Resend, which receives your e-mail address and the message. The file is stored privately on Cloudflare R2 and reaches you through a signed link that stops working after 24 hours; Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver it. Stripe e-mails your receipt.
Who processes your data
Stripe (payments and receipts), Vercel (website and server functions), Cloudflare (file storage and delivery) and Resend (e-mail). They may process data outside Hong Kong, including in the United States.
How long we keep it
Payment records stay in Stripe for as long as tax and accounting law requires (in Hong Kong, generally seven years). Hosting and e-mail logs are kept for the providers' standard short periods.
Your rights
You may ask to see or correct the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to delete what the law does not require us to keep, by writing to hello@llab08.com. We answer within 40 days, as the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance requires.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. Stripe's checkout page sets its own cookies on Stripe's domain, for example for fraud prevention.
